Four AURUS-OLED functions you (probably) didn’t know about
With the AURUS-OLED touch panels, all integrated home automation can be operated from one place: lighting, ambient temperature, audio ... But were you already acquainted with these four functions of the panels?
1. Clean the panels without operating them
Did you know that the AURUS-OLED touch panel has a glass cleaning mode? Press centrally at the top of the display for about two seconds. As soon as all eight LEDs are flashing, the user can clean the screen without accidentally operating anything.
! Cleaning should be done with a (humidified) microfibre cloth only. Never spray the glass cleaning agent directly on the touch panel.
2. Get useful messages and alarms
If desired, the AURUS-OLED touch panel can inform the user via a text message in combination with a beep signal. For example when someone rings the front doorbell or when the back door or gate... is still open. But also when it is time to pick up the children from school, when the garbage collection day is there (next morning) or when an important medicine has to be taken.
A message disappears automatically after 30 seconds. Once occurred, an alarm is repeated on a regular basis and can only be stopped manually. It goes without saying that the user should first fix the cause and then click the stop alarm button.
3. Changing the preset temperatures of zones
By long-pressing the button of a zone (usually at the bottom left corner), the user accesses the presets configuration menu. There, they can change the preset temperatures for day, night and eco mode. For heating and/or cooling, depending on the integrated HVAC solution of the zone.
4. Switch everything in a room on or off with one button
Changing everything in a room, from the heating to the shutters, to predetermined settings in a single step? For example, to ‘night’ mode or ‘standby’? That, too, is possible. In this case, the system integrator creates a specific ‘mood’ for that room, which the user can activate with a single (long) press on a button.
